The phrase "working mother" is redundant. - Jane Sellman
When I first read the quote, I thought of myself being a working mother. I forgot that some people would not consider me being a working mom. I remember that before I became a stay-at-home mom, I would often think "what does a SAHM do all day? Their life can't be that hard. They can go to the playground, go to a friend's house, go shopping, etc. anytime they want to. Why can't they keep a clean house?" Well 2 1/2 years into it, I quickly learned that it isn't all it looks like. It is definitely harder than I expected. Some days you do all you can to keep sane. A SAHM is always working (unless you are blogging - ha!ha!)
I believe God has called some women to stay-at-home and others to work outside of the home. I do not judge other moms. I have never worked outside of the home since becoming a mom. I don't know what God has for me in the future, but I would be happy to do whatever he wants. Personally I don't know how moms who do work outside of the home do it. I think to go to work all day, come home have to make dinner, spend time with the kids, and clean would be hard.
I love being a SAHM! There are moments that could just drive me over the edge, but I just send them to bed and all is better (I wish!) No, we get through them. I just enjoy watching Princess and Little Guy grow and learn new things. I am glad to be the one teaching them discipline, sharing, etc. I wouldn't trade my "job" for a million bucks!!

I don't think being a SAHM is any easier than a working mom. I like to think that I get a break during the day because work is so much easier than being mommy when I get home! Kudos to all those moms who stay at home and that are still sane!
