They say that you can't spoil a 6-week-old baby. I beg to differ.
On Fire and her family were visiting the Central PA area last weekend and they stayed at our house. The first thing they said to me was "If you want to hold him, you will have to tell us." Meaning they wanted to hold The Little Guy the entire time. At the time, I didn't mind. I mean two extra set of hands to help me with him, I'll take it.
Well now this whole week (they left Sunday), he wants to be held. Aaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!
Question is "Is it that he was spoiled or is it just a phase?" Who knows!!
These 2-week-long phases make me want to pull my hair out!!!!!!!!

Nah... its really that he is in turmoil b/c he misses his crazy, Aunt B....
I'm telling ya!
Well, of course he wants to be held! Aunt B and Uncle C have warm and loving arms. Mommy and Daddy have warm loving arms. And Princes has warm and loving, if sometimes sticky! arms. Who wouldn't want to be held by all those people that love him? Being "out utero!" is still new and scary and different than the warm and cozy and dark and safe cocoon he was in for 9+ months.
I agree with "someone" - you can't spoil them at this age. You might just need some extra hands. Call Amy S - she loves being extra hands! :) And actually, if I remember correctly, her boys like helping with babies occasionally too! And if they don't, maybe they'll enjoy playing with Princess a while so you can do the dishes! :)
