As I sit here at 6:30 am reading other blogs, I hear someone say "I feel great" in my daughter's room. This is the second morning in a row that I hear this. First of all, no one should be talking in my daughter's room this early. She is sleeping (actually she is sleeping in my bed right now - that's why I am not too freaked out). Secondly "I feel great" isn't really a phrase for 6:30 a.m. But most importantly who is saying "I feel great!" every morning?!
This is one of the "wonderful" gifts my mother-in-law bought for her grandbabies 7 years ago. (Remember Princess is only 17-months and her first sibling is still inside of me.) He is only supposed to say "I feel great" when you move him to an upright position. No one is in her room right now, so I'm not sure why he is talking. I think he may be possessed - or maybe it's just time to change the 7-year-old batteries in him.
I think I may just take the batteries out completely today!

That is hilarious! What is with those talking toys? Reminds me of a "rescue hero" jet plane of my #4's - When he first got it, it would randomly "take off" in the middle of the night. No movement, mind you, unless you count my peeling myself off the ceiling with a groan! I guess hubby was right when he convinced me that a 4 year old didn't need a monitor anymore :)
Ah yes. Scarlett had a 1-2-3 Big Bird. A few times after checking on her at night I would trip over it and it would go into a full recitation of "1, 2 Buckle My Shoe..."It is good that Ernie will be temporarily silenced. :)
