Trusting in Him

I am pregnant again! I am around 7 weeks right now...due at the beginning of November.

I've been feeling pretty good. You know the usual nausea and tiredness that goes along with the first trimester. I've had blood work. It came back normal. And I've had 2 ultrasounds. The first, too early to see anything. The second, baby measured 5mm and we saw a heartbeat....which in itself is unbelievable to me that you could see a heartbeat in a baby so small. (All of this testing is because of my history of miscarriages.)

This past weekend, I felt great. I had energy and didn't really feel sick at all. Honestly it worried me a little. I shared this with my hubby and some friends, who all tried to encourage me. I just kept praying for my baby to be healthy.

One of my friends said, "I've been praying for an easy pregnancy for you...no morning sickness, etc." So I guess God is just answering these prayers.

So do I pray for nausea and tiredness so I "know" that my baby is okay or do I just trust God to take care of my baby and forgo the symptoms. HMMM?! Let me think. I think I will trust in HIM! The One that created this baby for my family.

Definitely thinking of you often...praying too! I can't tell you how many times people have told me both now, and when I was pregnant with Todd...that being sick was a good thing & meant the baby was healthy. I think Todd is proof that the theory is just that...a theory. Don't rely on sickness...rely on God! He knows best & has much bigger & better plans. I'm not just speaking to you, I'm convincing myself too. I can honestly say my faith has been tested in this area over the last several days. My next Dr's appointment can't come soon enough (wednesday).

Love it...and you too!

Hmmm...if I recall, you didn't have morning sickness with your two precious and healthy little ones now either. Trusting in Him is always best...no matter what!

Continuing to pray for all of you.

Praise God for this baby and Praise God you aren't feeling sick & tired! Every pregnancy is different and so it's possible you won't - or it just might not have kicked in yet. Either way, I'm sure you will relish every minute of it...So happy for you!
