I know this is my 4th post today (and final). I went to Walmart this evening after Little Guy went to bed. Hubby put Princess down while I was gone. I think that is the best time to go to Walmart (except in the middle of the night and you won't catch me there then.) Anyhow I came home with $22.72 worth of products which I paid $1.78 - and no I didn't steal anything!!!
Here's the breakdown:
3 boxes of Honey Bunches of Oats with Chocolate Clusters
Manufacturer coupons: $2.00
They paid me: $0.06
2 K-Y Jelly (2 oz. size)
Manufacturer coupons: $3.00
They paid me: $0.86
Muir Glen Organic Diced Tomatoes
Manufacturer coupon: $1.00
Chocolate Silk Soy Milk
Manufacturer coupon: $2.25
2 Huggies Clean Team Flushable Wipes
Price Each: $2.38
Manufacturer coupon: $3.00 off 2
Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing
Manufacturer coupon: FREE
I love that kind of shopping. I avoided buying anything that I didn't have a good coupon for just to see how well I could do. I did not come up with these deals myself. I found them on other blogs. Now I need to try doing some of this myself. I usually only buy what we need, but I am finding that if I can buy stuff for really good prices and stockpile a little it may save us some money.
Note to OnFire: I hope you guys like Honey Bunches of Oats with Chocolate Clusters or Kashi something or other, because I have a lot of those. I have plenty of laundry detergent, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, Tylenol (CVS generic), deodorant, shampoo, and body wash for you to use. So, just pack your clothes and get up here! You may be taking some of this stuff home with you too.
