9 Wonderful Years

Yesterday my husband and I celebrated our 9-year anniversary! It sounds like a long time to me, but it really doesn't seem very long. We have a great marriage. We never really have had a fight. We are both go-with-the-flow type of people (which is nice to an extent, but neither of us likes to make a decision-which can get annoying).

This is the front and back of the bouquet of flowers that my wonderful husband surprised me with after work. Aren't they beautiful?!

Last night Princess had a great time with Grammy while we went out. We went to Carrabba's for dinner. Let me tell you, you have to try this resturant. The food is wonderful. We started with Zucchini Fritte for an appetizer. Basically this is zucchini french fries - very good, especially with the dipping sauce it comes with. He had Chicken Marsala. I have never tasted chicken this good before. You didn't even have to chew it. It just melted in your mouth. I had the Sirlion Marsala which was very good, but not enough to rave about.

After we left Carrabba's we only had about 45 minutes before we wanted to pick up Princess. We decided to spend that time by looking aroung the mall. Doesn't that sound like fun? We don't have the extra cash to spend right now, so needless to say, we didn't buy anything.

You would think that since we had 8 years of marriage before we had a baby, we would know what to do when we don't have a baby. All we could think to do last night was dinner and walk around the mall. Please tell me what you and your spouse do when you have a night to yourself. We need some new ideas.

I need some new ideas too!

We like to play board games, card games, go for a walk, and sit and talk. Ice cream is always good to eat together too.
