Last night Hubby was listening to music on the internet. Princess climbed up on his lap and wanted to listen with him. So he turns on Steven Curtis Chapman's Cinderella (which is playing right now on my blog...if you want to hear it).
She's says, "I know" and runs back to her bedroom. With my help, she puts on her "princess dress." She goes back out and requests a dance with her daddy.
Then she asked me if I wanted to wear her dress. I thanked her but told her that it doesn't really fit me. Then she looks at our wedding picture in the computer room and says, "where is your dress?" I again told her that would be a good idea, but it doesn't really fit me anymore.
Then I thought why not. I never took it to be preserved or anything. It is just hanging in a closet. So I went and put it on. Well let me just say, it still fits...it just has a "sexy" open back now instead of a conservative back.
She was so cute. She had to hold my hand and take me out to daddy. Then she told us to dance. So Hubby changed the music to our song (These Hands byAll 4 One) and we danced.
Then she had to hold my hand when I was walking away. She thought that was the best...mommy in a princess dress.

How awesome! My girls are always asking me to get out my wedding dress. Our anniversary is coming up in March...maybe I'll do something special then! Thanks for the ideas!!
