As per Hubby, this post is long over due (and I tend to agree with him).
If you remember from reading this post, just weeks be Little Guy entered this world his nursery was in shambles. Floor boards pulled up, electrical stuff going on, no ceiling fan/light, etc.
I just wanted to let my readers know that we had his room ready for him to come home to. It wasn't even a close call. I don't remember exactly when we had it all put together, but it was sometime around May 3rd. (Ok for some of you that may be a close call, but Hubby and I are both procrastinators so as long as it is done before it needs to be we are happy.)
The only thing we did not have ready was the cradle. We are borrowing it from On Fire. This is a long story that I won't bore you with. He now has the cradle to sleep in, but did just fine in his crib the first couple of nights.
All that the nursery needs now are wall decorations, which we do not have at this time. Hopefully soon we will find some that match the sports decor. And I guess we also need stuff to fill up those 2-inches wide shelves.
In the meantime you can enjoy the before and after pictures.

Hi, I just stumbled across references to weird pregnancy dreams on your blog and I'm writing a story on this topic for Pregnancy magazine. Would you be interested in being interviewed for my story?

Love that color blue - it's so sweet and pure. Glad to hear you are all settling in nicely. Are you getting enough sleep? Have they started meals for you? Oh, I miss that so much. Having charge over that area gave me the EXTRAORDINARY benefit of getting my baby fix on a fairly regular basis. Oh, well . . . Give the sweeties hugs and sniff baby's little head for me :)
It looks great...and peaceful. Blue has that calming effect.
Looks so nice.
And your pic of the kids in the right hand corner is adorable.
Smile!
Really sweet! What a great job you guys did!
